Shell, weatherproof kit or complete package?
Suppliers use different package names. Some sell a frame only; others include panels, insulation, membranes and roof materials. Glazing, cladding, foundations, electrics and internal finishes may be separate. Mark up the buying checklist against each quote.
Check the installation requirements
Read the assembly instructions before purchasing. Confirm the lifting equipment, number of people, safe working access and tolerances required. Ask about acceptable base systems and weather protection during construction.
Request drawings and performance details
Get internal and external dimensions, door openings, assembled height, insulation specifications and foundation loads. A gym, sauna or simulator may require a design beyond a supplier’s standard office kit.
Compare the completed budget
